Faces and Braces

Social 6 orthodontic treatment just deals with the front 6 teeth that show (hence 'social 6'). However, I have been doing conventional orthodontics for children for over 20 years and it always amazes we how much influence certain braces can have on the growing face. These braces are called 'functional' braces.

The main functional brace I use in Whitstable is called the Clark Twinblock, named after William Clark, a very clever orthodontist from the States. New Social 6 braces brochure available for download

It's the start of 2002 and we have released a new 4-page brochure which is free to download from the social6 website now.

The brochure compares the inman aligner, fixed braces and clear aligners. It also looks at the features which these appliances have in common. These appliances are all very successful for the rapid straightening of misaligned front teeth, with most treatments taking only 3 months to complete.
