The Detling Wedding Fair; a big success for Social 6 Braces

We hosted a Social 6 Braces stand at the Detling Wedding Fair at the beginning of May. Hayley and I almost lost our voices during the day through chatting to people who had never heard of such things as Clear Aligners and Inman Aligners! People were really amazed that it was possible to have your teeth straightened so quickly and easily. It was also great to be able to answer so many other dental questions at the same time!

I was surprised by the huge number of people attending the Fair and the range of stands presenting everything you could possibly think of related to the ‘Big Day’. Despite the downturn in our economy, I don’t think people in the UK are willing to significantly cut back on how much they spend on their Wedding Day.
We have now had a full colour 4-page A4 leaflet printed all about Social 6 Braces and hand this out to interested patients at Kelvin House Dental Practice in Whitstable. I have also put a pdf file of the information leaflet onto the Social 6 Braces website for people to download.

Social 6 Braces exhibit at Detling Wedding Fair Sunday 1st May 2011

The Detling Wedding Fair on Sunday 1st May is the biggest of its kind in Kent, with up to 1,000 couples expected to visit over 100 stands.

Social 6 Braces will be exhibiting for the first time at this venue and we are very excited about being able to tell so many people about the incredible results we get. Our patients get straight teeth in as little as 12 - 18 weeks, using a variety of orthodontic appliances such as the Inman Aligner, Clear Aligners (which work in a similar way to Invisalign and Clearstep) and fixed braces with either metal or clear ceramic brackets.

Here is a before and after photo of a case we finished last week with Clear Aligners:

If you want to find out more about Social 6 Braces either come and see us at Detling or contact us at Kelvin House Dental Practice, Whitstable, Kent on 01227 771323.
Of course you can also see more examples of cases at our website www.social6braces.com

Whitstable Castle Wedding Fair

Don't miss the Whitstable Castle & Gardens Wedding Fair on Sunday 20th March 2011.

Whitstable dentist Paul Downes and his nurse, Hayley, will be exhibiting Social 6 Braces and tooth whitening options for brides and grooms. The Whitstable Castle and Gardens has just had a £2 million make-over and is well worth a visit just in its own right.

Paul and Hayley will be presenting the very latest innovations in clear aligners (which work in a similar way to Invisalign), fixed appliances and Inman Aligner orthodontic treatments. These techniques can straighten mild/moderate crowding or spacing in upper or lower front teeth in as little as 12 - 18 weeks (in plenty of time for the wedding!)

They will also be showing the Opalescence tooth whitening system which can safely whiten teeth by 4-6 shades in just 16 days. Free consultations for Social 6 braces and tooth whitening can be arranged at Kelvin House Dental Practice.

Radio 2 DJ Chris Evans starts his Clear Aligner braces

Chris Evans, the early morning DJ on Radio 2 is having his teeth straightened. He informed his listeners on Monday that he has started wearing a series of clear aligners; probably Invisalign or Clearstep. Looking at one of his old photos, it certainly looks as though his lower incisors are pretty uneven. Interestingly enough, none of his recent promotional pictures show his lower front teeth.

At Kelvin House Dental Practice, in Whitstable, dentist Paul Downes offers Social 6 Clear Aligners which are designed to just straighten the teeth that show. They work in exactly the same way as Invisalign and Clearstep but are custom-made by skilled technicans rather than by very clever CAD-CAM machines. Because we only straighten the front teeth, treatment time is as little as 12 - 18 weeks. We wish Chris Evans success in his orthodontic treatment and look forward to hearing about how he gets on with the whole process.
